    Welcome to the forum Adam.

Lovely westy, he looks exactly same as our '77 westy, Major who came from Santa Cruz in 2011 :D

  4. Nice bus, use it and enjoy it, rustproof it, check your fuel lines, get a Bentley manual and learn about how it works, but mostly just enjoy it:thumbsup:

  5. Is this better than the Haynes?

  6. Yes there's more detail even though I've always used Haynes on other cars, and it's for the US so suits your bus, I've a '79 westy from California and find the Bently very good.

    Lovely looking bus.

As mentioned change the fuel lines and breather runners if not already. Get decent ones and check regularly.

  11. Have fun with it . Nice bus

Hello from the cold depths of the New Forest. Nice looking machine in a lovely colour! Enjoy the adventure

  16. Thanks so much... Being new to the game, why are changing the fuel lines and breaker runners so important?

    Thanks

Never heard of breaker runners but fuel lines because they crack leak fuel and then your vans on fire.

They might have already been done so you might be okay but just keep an eye on it
