Neighbour issues

  1. In that case definitely call Customs and Excise about the "Fuel Scam" hes running.

Take a stroll into your local police station with your note pad and start a harassment case against them. They are obliged by law to investigate it. At the very least you will have a police case record to show that you feel you are being harassed by this idiot and if he does decide to escalate his harassment further its an easy step for them to slam him.

Im sorry to say that the world is full of **** wits I just hope you can get this settled.

  2. He drives a petrol unfortunately also I have no proof who it is so can't start throwing accusations about. But cheers for the suggestions though.

  3. So you cant/wont do anything about this problem, dont wanna move.

    Thats it then. ???

  5. Knocking on doors makes you look a fool and a trouble maker, why sully your name with the neighbours?

Planned, non incriminating revenge only effects the target and makes you feel a whole lot better

  6. So, had my interview today with the compliance officer. Turns out I've had three reports of benefit fraud made against me since January. I can't go into details but needless to say it was made by someone that knows a lot about us.

Have been told if another report comes in then it will be escalated to the fraud squad and pretty boy here will get arrested and have a nice court case to look forward to.

It never rains but it pours.

    Surely that's a positive thing?

Start wearing a neck brace and say you have an incapacity scam running - then gratuitously climb ladders and disco dance near the windows.

Probably the dss trying to unsettle you all along ( after a tip off ) is my guess .

  9. Dont think fraud will get involved unless they have very good evidence against you ,it costs alot of money to build a case. Id think seriously about moving if things are getting that bad for you ,you dont need it , its not running away it might just be the best thing you ever did. Good luck.

  10. I believe the DSS was shut a long time ago mate. ;)

My next plan of action is to start mentioning to certain people on the sly how I have just had a £5K windfall, been offered a job but rather stay on benefits, claiming for incapacity as well. So on and so forth. That why when I get another visit I can work out who is accusing me.

  13. ^^^ I Agree

The problem with rumours is that they are impossible to track and to be honest by doing so you are basically reducing yourself to their level. I know it will be hard not to want to retaliate in some way but if it is getting serious, and it sounds like it is, then the only way out for you is to remain squeeky clean and be as helpful as possible.

You're victory will be the sh!t they throw at you sliding off and hitting the 'adopted highway'...

  14. Nice one mad franky

The authorities wouldn't be able to do anything as all reports/accusations have been made anonymously.

So what next then? Social services? They must be running out of complaint lines surely.

  15. Hopefully you will get a nice call tomorrow from someone called Gary, if you don't, let me know and I will call him all manner of swear words.

  16. ;)

  17. May I remind everyone this is a thread on a public forum. It is unlikely but anything said/offers to help "sort it out" could be traced to here and could effect any outcomes or future investigations. [IMG]

  18. Thank you for your advice mate.

In fairness as tempting as some of the advice is I wouldn't do anything that would get me in trouble. I'm keeping my nose clean here.

Also I've kept personal details out of this.

All the same it is good advice to others.

  20. Keep your chin up him ;)
