Can you even be noddied before dec 1st.? Surely up until the official start date, all noddies must be considered a warm up.

Yep I agree. We need an official start date and confirmation of the rules. I seem to remember last year a bit of confusion as to whether the whole song counted as being nodded, or just “its Christmas “ and the chorus. Will there be random drug testing this year for competitors?
We start when the sightings of it in the wild start. Usually straight after guy fawkes, last year however we started in October as for some odd reason it came out of hibernation early
THE RULES ============= 1) Hearing Noddy say It's Christmas = Noddied. 2) Hearing Noddy say (so here it is) Merry Christmas = Noddied. 3) Hearing the intro and running away = Valid Dodge 4) Being unable to leave and sticking your fingers in your ears and going "la la la" = be honest, you were Noddied. 5) If you think you're in a grey area of the rules = Noddied. 6) That's Noddy, not Williams or Cullum or anyone else, just Noddy, it isn't called Cullum dodging
