mystery objects

These are two small items made of black rubber which I found on the garage floor next to the sliding door on my camper. They are slightly attracted to a magnet.

I guess they're some kind of buffer/shock absorber/feet pads. Has anybody got any ideas?

 

Exhaust hangers ? but not off the camper

 

Something for wing mirror atatchment???

Only I took some mirrors off a jeep and they had bits like that between mirror arm and door.

 

They look like the rubber bumpers that go behind the spare wheel when it’s in the spare wheel well.

 

Don’t chuck them out - they’re like hens teeth!

 

Thanks for the ideas. I kind of expect they might have come off my daily driver which is an electric BMW i3. The doors are very complicated. No sign so far though.

 

Incidentally, if anyone is after hens teeth, @davidoft has a small supply of NOS ones
