Bloody hell that looks a lot better!
I'm guessing if that's all been done today it's just been cut out and filled?

I did for a sliding window from VW heritage, classed as original stamped as lucky glass and it didn't fit very well at all.

Sent it back and got a proper sliding window from C&C which was stamped VW. I've seen this type on a few vans and fits great so hoping it'll be ok.

Pics to follow on that once I've fitted it.

Lol - no just updated today... To lazy to update regularly and a bit of a hassle as using iPhone to get pics onto photobucket and then into forum using tapatalk...

It was going to be 3 days but as he cut away and more rust turned up it took 3 weeks.

Most panels were either sheets fabbed to fit or panels bought and cut up as I only wanted metal that needed to be replaced, replaced.

I bet your over the moon with the finished result. Your pop top is exactly the same as mine. :)

I am over the moon specially on money as I was quoted £1000 just for the poptop and I got all that done for less than that.

The guy that did it is real cool and an enthusiast like us but with skills. he was happy to do the work and I was extremely happy and grateful with the result.

The guy I think was extremely cheap, but no overheads working in his car parking space at the back of his garden - the roof was sprayed by a sprayer friend of his.
