Thanks para, looked awful before and was doing my head in. I'm not 100% happy but its a 1000 times better than before
Not a big update but added some LED interior lights Lights on Lights off Off to see zed this weekend to get engine, carbs & timing checked before our trip to Germany next week
Small update, I'd like to say with @Lardy help I did this but the truth is @Lardy actually done 99.9% of the work and its made a huge difference. Poptop lined inside. Hopefully over the next few weeks there will be a few updates.
Another small update... Getting some metal work done, off came the vent for the fridge and off came some old filla! So it's being zinc plated and repaired. More updates to follow in the next few days.
So more updates.... Had friend do some work on the van as I'm a little skint, he's no expert in this but highly skilled. He's done a great job and I'm happy. So to finish the poptop a little bit of fresh paint on the top and a new seal. From this... To this....
I asked just get the colour as best as possible for protection as I'll probably get it sprayed sometime next summer.... Or later... From this: To this....
Thanks - it's looking a 1000 times better than it did at the start of this year. Its had a spray, new roof lining and new canvas all in I think the poptop has cost me just over £600...
There's been a few other bits done like outer seal under sliding door and some inner seal on the rear quarter that was really rusty but pictures for them were quite difficult to get at the moment. I'm going to slowly strip out the interior sand floor and paint in rust oleum. No rush on this, only when I can be bothered, weathers good and if the wife lets me out.
Nice work Mr @Razzyh Whats the material / carpet called that you used to line the pop top roof? Need to order a bit for my westy roof to stop my daughter getting wet from condensation
I've no idea... It was black vehicle carpet or something... @Lardy sorted it for us... Hang on think he send me a text... It came from colt sport conversions (google them in essex)and is £12 a meter + Glue, though its not listed on the website.
