Yours is looking great and well on the way now. You wont know what to do with yourself once you have finished! You will have to start another one1 lol

keep up the good work you are an inspiration to the rest of us mere mortals who want to complete a resto!!

  6. thanks mate :)

I'm hoping to have it ready for paint before the end of May .......hopefully ;D

as for other projects, I've got my MGB to restore after the bus.......then I'll be looking for the next project ;D

  7. Nice one! On another note! Do you know what size wheel you can go up to on a lowered late bay! Ones I have are no good so looking at possibly Mercedes or Audi but wondered what size I can go up to! I appreciate the effect it will have on gearing in the bus but wasn't sure physically what size will fit under wheel arch suppose I need to put old 14" wheels back on and check clearance. Just wondered if you knew off hand

    Cheers
    Andy

  13. Great work bet you can't wait to get it on the road! Where about's are you near northampton as i have family down that way and know it fairly well ;D

  14. Hiya
right in centre of town near the race course in abington!

  15. oh yea near the uni, you will have to drop me a message when you are on the road and we could meet up or if you need a hand with anything or need measurement's i could pop over with mine as i know that can be helpfull to have something to relate to ;D

  16. That would be great and thanks for the offer of taking measurements from yours. That might come in real handy when i do the front. She had been turned into a smoothy when I bought her so I am putting hangers back on the back for rear bumper but will need to attach a deformation panel to the front and it could come in handy to have a look at yours to see how it is supposed to fit!
    Cheers

  18. Thanks very much for the words of encouragement! Always appreciated. I am aware that she will never be finished but if I can just get her on the road at least I can go out and enjoy weekends like we have just had instead of sweating away in a small garage with a plastic roof that seems to magnify the suns rays very well thank you very much lol.

I find this forum an inspiration watching everybody else slave away and get there in the end. No way will I be giving up especially now that I am getting somewhere!!
    Cheers
