Why have one wildly inefficient vehicles when you can have two? My daily is a little gen 2 mini cooper s cabrio, had it a couple of years now. It's had a few mods, took it from a sedate 175bhp to a slightly more wild 272bhp and 399nm torque. Upside, many smiles... Downside... 25mpg.
