  1. Yep, fell apart! Went sloppy, there's third there's fourth, there's reverse, but would it select first and second, NO, Absolutely NO

  2. Someone on here used a plastic foot from a gazebo as a workaround

  3. Got to say she is one very nice looking bus. Great thread to see from where she started out to where she finished.

  4. Thank you, slowly slowly getting there but with everything sometimes it has to remain in the garage! Or be in the garage for work

  5. After last week's shenanigans and getting it ready for a weekend only for it to kaput on the drive, a trip was booked to go and see Simon at Nos Vw. After a fun 6 mile drive with only first and third gear to play with I made it and it went straight on to Simon's Pit for diagnosis. Two hours later he texts me to say the bush is knackered as thought but also that the gear rod is from and prototype bay welded to a rod and has been drilled! Lovely corner cutting stuff by the bloke that originally restored it again! New old stock second hand rod sourced by Si, fresh front bushing, and half a tub of grease and the things just like it's come out the factory! All for £80! Massively pleased FB_IMG_1568831458684.jpg FB_IMG_1568831461769.jpg FB_IMG_1568831464364.jpg FB_IMG_1568831466932.jpg
