I've had a thread running in the resto bit but it's now on the road so here's couple of pics...look away now if offended by drastically lowered bays (the mods are fairly extensive). This is how I bought it 3 months ago, it's very much a work in progress and doesn't stand up to a lot of the lovely bays on here...but I'll get there (I better do as it's cost a fortune so far!)!
Just an update as last weekend I spent my first ever weekend away in the bus, first in any bus infact. I took it to Big Bang for the weekend...for a thorough leak-test!! It survived as did I, unfortunately the event itslef didn't and we were ordered off site on sunday morning due to further adverse weather warnings, the first time this has happened at Santa Pod!! A few pics of it doing what it was built for, I'd also like to add that despite the suspension mods (and maybe because of the more radical tubbing and notching I am yet to ground out or experience any wheel-rub in this bus, which is nice.)
As the weekend (drinking) went on we gradually had more people drive over to join us after we built "The Cave"...despite being a total washout I had an epic weekend...the guy in the tent 20 yeards down from us woke up with a 6 inch moat surrounding his tent...that used to be me when I had my bug(s) The Cave: The Mob:
A stunning bus! I've seen the first pic somewhere before as its spent months as my phone background! Wish I was brave enOugh to get mine that low!
Sad interior question, but where are your cupboards from? I'm toying with the push-in handles like that for our Hamish.
