Music Festivals 2019....

Well, I’ve just booked Fairport at Cropredy but about 1 min later realised it’s the week before Beautiful Days which I fancied more music wise

Also considering Wilkswood Reggae festival in July

 

I’m still thinking about Beautiful Days!

 

I’ve not been for a few years but have inadvertently booked Fairport past years also then remembered too late it’s either same weekend or v close to Beautiful Days

I’m looking at Victorious too . Did you camp in your van ? X

 

Yes, I did the official camping at Victorious..... it was a fair price and the amenities were okay (a few water points, basic loos and I didn’t see any sign of showers, but it’s only three days!) and it includes bus transport to and from the festival all day. Not got my ticket yet but am planning to

 

Sounds good. I never shower at festivals anyway

 

Three days! Man Up Sir. How else do you ensure a bit of space and not getting completely squashed at the front?

 

I’ve been there the past few years but my niece is selfishly getting married that weekend so can’t go

 

So I've just seen The Specials are headlining at Victorious Festival on the Friday, with The Rifles / The Hives / James Bay on Saturday, and the vaccines on Sunday. Not setting my world on fire line-up-wise if I'm honest (The Specials obviously, but the others not soooo much, although it's just a fab location and the camping is good and there's always small stages with great bands)
Beautiful Days sounds good and is a possible, but is the same weekend as Skeg Vegas which I'd been vaguely thinking about.
The Neil Young / Bob Dylan Hyde Park fest seems to be sold out, not entirely surprisingly.
Volksworld clashes with a friends 50th birthday weekend.
Apart from Larmer Tree Festival which I've half paid for , I'm lacking a bit of music festival / camping inspiration for this summer. HELP!

 

I think I’m going to try and do Fairport and Beautiful Days . I’m liking the BD. Line up a lot.

I’m off to see the Specials in Sheffield in April? I’m seeing UB40 the day before too!!

 

Yes I thought the Beautiful Days line up looked the best of the lot....
Likewise, The Specials in April (Leicester, conveniently just before Techenders. YAY!)
