haha as my resto has taken forever I’m finding parts I bought ages ago but have forgotten what’s what! Can anybody please shed some light on these please? I’m pretty sure the lovely stainless brackets are rears from @lhu1281 but after looking on here and the samba, I can’t work out how they all fit!
I went for mud flaps on the front and back as they catch and deflect a fair amount of e.g. Victoria Farm at 15mph through a swampy boggy mess..
The stainless one(s?) do appear to be @lhu1281 ’a. I’ll post a pic of how they fit a bit later. Keep your flaps nice’n’straight.
They support the flaps nicely. You need to drill two holes in the rear metal “mudguard” and bolt the right-angled bit to the chassis rail.
Bloody typical! They did look a bit funny when I got the missus to hold them up for me... I’ll leave them off for now then...
Flaps on the left are fronts, right are rears. The square shape ones are meant to be original shape compared to current offerings from most suppliers. Can't help with brackets though!
Front and rear flaps are the same size , genuine fronts are plain with vertical slots , rear have logo plus horizontal slots ... the stainless brackets on the right are rear same as OG the other ones are not bay . Bay front ones are flat and screw to out rigger
