right not got apic just yet i have a bodge on my carb manifold the bit in the middle that the carb is atatched to about half way up ther is a branch off mine has got a bit of garden hose bent over what should be on it plz cheers
its your servo connection, based on what you say...if you could get a photo for us tomorrow please, that'd help
If you don't have a brake servo, leave it as it is. May be that someone's swapped manifolds over the years and have had to bung the pipe up.
Take it off and bung it up better I'd say - you don't want an air leak here. The carb "sixpence" has been repaired as well. Does it run ok?
Altair dude you may want to rotate the coil a little in its mounting bracket to stop that terminal chafing on your ht lead Id remove that hose pipe and fit a short length of rubber hose with suitably sized bolt fitted in the end and hoseclipped for security
Zed she runs ok starts first time I have had a look under found a hole infront of the rear wheel tub should of stayed in bed so I will fix that mot in may. I hope to have her water tight for then then engine out to do the bay area
