  1. forget the FI mate - someone has dumped a boat on your roof

    :)

  2. i'm no expert on the FI set-up but it looks like a lot of your air cleaner assembly is missing? Your engine tin to body seal is missing too.

  3. :D Didn't your mum tell you it's rude to point and laugh? :D
Anyways...the seal is due to go back on, as are the pipes to the fan - they're not affecting anything at the mo surely?
    :S Excuse my ignorance!
P.S. Random aside: Are there courses you can go on over like say, a weekend, to get to grips quickly with a type 4 engine?

  7. ...and yes, mum told me that it was rude to point. But she also told me that if I ever saw a Type 2 bus with an upturned boat stuck on its roof I was to point and shout 'HAA-HAA!!!'
    :)

yeah what joker says, my air filter housing is a mahoooosive affair and vacumn pipes and other pipes off the engine go into it and the air flow meter doobry thingy....... maybe if it's been fiddled with that won't help.

  12. Is it a safare version ?

Plastic seal is missing from around the face of the alternator, as is the alternator bolt slot cover :)

  14. I'm hoping all the missing bits are temporary issues while everything gets fixed! It's like a "Spot the Ball" competition!
As regards the Safare version - I wish - I wouldn't be surprised if it genuinely was an upturned boat! So :D are perhaps warranted! It's made by Specialized...
Got a bed up top in the roof - the interior is lush - interesting, fairly unique layout for modern setups, that I designed with an eye on some Westy stuff, put into action by Dunk from Vanmotion and upholstered by the Awesome guys in St. Ives, hence the current location. When I'm not on such a downer I will get the pics up! By the way - I didn't gut any original furniture (sacrilige!) - it only had a homemade sinkunit, full width bed and shady after market seats, so no guilt trip for me! :D
