WANTED Middle Rail Sliding Door Mechanism

Got an email from C&C who are selling new ones for £250 I think! Ouch.

Beat me to it I read the email and came straight here

 

I wonder how long before a door drops on someone’s toe

 

It will be interesting to see what the quality is like and how they last over time.

 

It’s a heavy old door and a very small piece that holds it on, even the originals break and they are high quality aluminium, dodgy ally = waste of money, I’ll try to get a look at one at a show

 

Sorry wasn't a new one but a rebuilt one.
I'll try and find it again somewhere on the web.

 

@davidoft has got loads shocker! Got 1, maybe 2 of parts myself and about 6 slider doors!

There’s an Australian company Malcolm Engineering, who machine a new aluminium block, about $300AUD I think on exchange for a complete remanufactured unit before import duty.
