Thursday night we stopped at Sunnysands campsite in Talybont near Barmouth, it has a touring site although we stayed in a static for that night just as a base to start from, http://www.sunnysands.co.uk/ it's a decent site with a club and shop/chippie and arcades onsite plus a nice beach.

Early Friday we headed up the coast to Conwy, i'd never been there but on recomendation from a mate we tried http://www.conwytouringpark.co.uk/ i wasn't overly happy with the site as there were no ammenities onsite although a club and play area was available it was a long way from our pitch, the ground was wet and that spoiled it a bit but that wasn't the sites fault, the area we were in would have been nice on a dry summer i guess. I had bought a small awning for camps like this where we move about everyday and i'm very happy with it, it's easy to pitch.

Sunday we packed up and drove to Rhyl for some shopping and a nosey, it's a bit of a dump nowadays gone downhill a lot.
We then drove back to Prestatyn seafront and sat for 3 hours chilling before heading home.
