Oops bit late to this but cd this be a compromise? That threads that are clearly about politics stay and you can join in if you want, it's your funeral. But political goading and point scoring and tiresome partisan comments in threads that are unrelated to politics get modded? Btw @Fish, I didn't understand what do you meant about complaints on Bazza's own post? No one was complaining or talking about old posts. Just asking shd the ban be restored? I think he was asking whether enough was enough now.
The trouble with the political threads are egos. No one actually cares enough about the actual politics and are seldom prepared to listen to others views or respect their opinion,no matter how thought out. I was against political threads when we had the big debate on here about it and said so loudly. Since they have been part of the agenda I think this forum has lost something.
i didn't understand that either, I was just saying, draw a line forget the past threads and ban all future. Ones,I didn't mention my old posts, I was just trying to put stop to all the Marmite that goes on, ill take a lead and not post on political threads in the future, I've already edited the ones I posted on Jezzer at Glastonbury
I'd just like to state that I'm a long haired, bearded, spectacle wearing hippy who likes wearing sandals and reading The Guardian. You have to guess my politics. @Barry Haynes and I are political opposites but I don't think we've slagged each other off at any time. Love, peace and mung beans.
