Message to mods

I'm going to put my sensible head on here,wouldnt it be a good idea if we banned all political threads in future, all it ends up as is a slagging match with no discussion, I think everyone knows where I stand and in the past I've been a major player, but it's all getting a bit boring, we could put it to a vote

We used to have a ban for the above reason but in more recent times we've let them go because there has been reasonable discussion.
It is getting a bit tedious now though, but they will go away naturally if people stop responding

trouble is we are damned if we do, damned if we don't. I'm sure if we had a ban we'd be accused of heavy handed modding, or stifling free speech. I like that people have there say ...but it does get repetitive on some threads

I look in on most threads to make sure every one is behaving, but choose not to get involved, if I wasn't a mod I wouldn't even open the threads

 

We could have a Discussion and a Vote but my guess is if we talk about it too long someones going to pull up Godwins law, If you want to stick your head above the Parapet you need to realize that approach and content aren't everything but that you're going to need some Armour too!

As Ive said I've been one of the major players in this, but it's now just plain boring,it's easy to say don't reply but sometimes it almost feels like a personal attack on me and what I stand for, if anyone complains about the ban just blame me I don't give a Marmite

 

I was thinking about this after ranting about the DUP. I have decided that, for me, TLB will be politics free. That's what Twitter and Facebook are for.

We have a complete ban on slagging off someone's colour or religion and rightly so, I'm just saying just add politics
