Hopefully with a few more good days of welding the welding will all be complete :laugh2: ;D, then its the prepping for paint  and putting him all back together again which fortunately Mrs B is looking forward to!

She has also been hard at it weather permitting and got most of the bits we needed sandblasting done - especially the wheels! :)

And most of the bus is in bare metal - but that will be shown in the next update

Well done to the both of you. It's looking really solid now and all your hard work is clear to see. It's a shame Stig won't make it to the show this weekend, but I'm sure it will still be a great weekend. :)

  6. Thanks Silver, of course mega special thanks goes to you for being such a great parts person and an even better parcel wrapper - you have made life much more bearable having proper parts! ;)

  9. Cheers guys, really appreciate the comments, its very hard not to lose motivation sometimes, when the rest of life gets in the way, but as you say Diddymen we are nearly there now, just that nearly also seems so far away!

Thats all for now til next time :chewie: onwards and upwards as they say!!!!

Got the front drivers cab step to put in, re do the drivers seat belt mount, dash mount, and rear window frame, then hopefully we will be able to get him out of the garage and turned round to finish the rear end and get the roof of, so Mrs B can finish wire brushing and we will be a few more steps closer to paint and sorting the interior  (Dreaming face smiley)

  10. Nice tidy work as usual :)

Wish Mrs Diddymen would work on my bus ...........your lucky to have Mrs B ;D

If my Mrs worked on my bus I'd be finished by now ;D ( a poor excuse for not doing much lately lol!)

    K+ for MRs B

Done a small repair to the middle side window frame but thats nowt exciting. Then got on to the cab step and floor which isnt as bad as i thought it was ;D
    [IMG]
Im off back to the shed to unpick the last of the step from the door post and hang the door to line the new step upto :chewie:

    Thats all folks! ;)

  16. Cheers Owen, not got much more now till i get onto using those inner door skins you made up for us  Its the sliding door im not looking foward to skinning, they seem to take ages to get the curve right on the bottom

  17. We got a step forward yesterday :))

Also got the seat belt mount and o/s cab floor done

Just a couple of inches of welding to finish off underneath the rear and front arch and the hooks need putting on for the cover strip under the rear window, then that should be this side done (all the mundane bits which will make it feel that no progress is being made) :-

BUT Then he can come out again to have the roof off and be turned around to finish inside ;D and that will feel like massive progress has been made. ;D

  18. just done 2 of them arches good job but fiddley , owen nw

  19.
  20. Your doing great dude keep at it
