Matts 1973 Bay resto

Discussion in 'Restorations' started by Mathew Clarkson, May 19, 2015.

  1. I bought Elvis last September with the aim of getting him road worthy over a month or two which if i am honest was very short sighted of me and it soon became a full restoration.
I decided to go all out and have the van soda blasted to give me a good starting point but when the van returned i soon realized i had made a mistake but here are some pictures of the progress so far from soda blasting to lead loading and soon to come a shiny new coat of paint.

  2. After the initial strip down Elvis went away to Birmingham for a week for soda blasting and the end result wasn't pretty!
