  1. We were told about this site by my Aunt and Uncle who have been here with a club. We did not take the Dub however they are welcome, it's easy to find and in driving distance of Alborough, Snape, Orford etc.

It is a very basic site but also very cheap for tent and no electric 15 quid a night. The shop does not say when it is open which is a bit of a pain and is very basic as well, if you fish it does not sell live bate which was a bit odd seeming the large course fishing lakes and it us advertised as such. Lots is shinny caravans in the hook up field. No local information and little forthcoming when asked. Not the best site for small children due the masses of water but out boys loved it. Two porta toilets in the field and a washing up shed (all cold water) . Showers up near the farm house a quid a go , however not very warm at all, other toilets up there , still no warm water and if you are a women and of a larger build you have not got a hope in hell of shutting the bathroom door, as my mother found out , and she's not that big ! no disabled toilets etc.

Despite all the above it is a pretty well kept site and we found some gems, a pretty little country land walk ,and another walk which led us to a play park with some beautiful carvings as well. We were told there was no pub near by but we found something better in The village, an old fashioned'club house' rough as but what a friendly , welcoming bunch, pool and darts for the boys and a large football pitch, cheap beer all just 10 minutes safe walk from the site !

Anyway I would go back I liked it, it was a shame About another family staying there but that's no ones fault but their own :) if anyone wants a latebay meet up in Suffolk give me a shout they would be more than happy to have us ! :)

  2. Oh you need a fishing licence and also have to pay to used the lakes , even the kidlets ...

  3. Think we will give that a miss. Our favourite site is the Moon and Sixpence Woodbridge and Cliff house at Dunwich, both more than £15 a night but great sites.

  4. Thanks for that will give them a look we have done loads of sites over Norfolk and Suffolk, our next one is Mill Hill farn :)
