    Those are fiddly and I wrecked one trying to fit it, the ones in the photo's look good from a distance but the fit isn't over great and there are a few little gaps.

    A couple more jobs ticked off the list and out of the way.

    Alloy wheels tidied up & new tyres fitted

    Cab / underseat mats fitted

    Loadbed insulated with Dynamat to keep the cold away
    [​IMG]

    * the rectangular piece with curled up edges is a removable cover for the engine hatch

    • Dynamat insulate the bed area.
    • Refurbish the alloy wheels (polish the rims) and fit new tyres
    • Fit the cab mats / glue into place
    • seal nine screws underneath (they hold the plywood underneath the carpets down. OG fit, new screws fitted).
    • Refurbish the walkthrough storage box
    • Remove the engine & gearbox / driveshafts and paint the engine bay & sloping panel above the gearbox
    • Service the gearbox & driveshafts and refit
    • Have the Subaru motor fitted
    • Source solar panels and install 12V systems
    • Reupholster the seats and bed mattresses

    Had a few days off work with manful so I set about sorting the storage box out.

    Looks like its seen better days:

    Fresh new material on the seat cover, new rubber trim and the old laminate removed and varnished same as the units.

    Took advantage of having man-virus and did some more upholstery today. New foam and cover for the rear seat armrest.

    We have decided not to use the correct yellow westy plaid material and go for the green instead, looks better suited imo :)

    Had a go at a bit of woodwork whilst Ive been home working. We'd thought about a small clothes storage locker which could be removed if necessary, which would go up in the roof / poptop bed space.
