Needed to fix my sump plug. If anyone has got one that I could either hire or buy off them that would be very useful. Thanks Phil
@davidoft, so last year I had an issue with sump plug, so I tapped it out to M15 using a similar tool to the one you post. Thing is, this has now stripped the threads and when I took the sump plug out yesterday, I could see stripped threads on the plug itself. So, I started to look at Helicoils to fix the issue, but I measured the existing plug and it measures 13.95 mm, which it thought was m14. My thoughts now are to either: tap out to m16 x 1.5 and fit a new sump plug or fit a m16 x 1.5 helicoil I have also found that v coil do a m15 sump plug repair kit, but not sure if this fixes m15 or m14 size. I am confused, and due to the cost of these kits, don't want to make a mistake.
