Opposite to my LHD, the knobs are towards the back – maybe so they can be operated while sitting on the rear seat. The windows can be fitted on either side and it looks like Westfalia were a bit random as to where the knobs ended up.
Mine are both to the back as well.So if I swapped them over they would both face forward. Means that they are obviously handed, need to make sure that when you buy a pair the nobs are opposite each other.
My westy Berlin has one knob at the rear on the sliding door and one crank handle at the rear over the fridge. You can hold the fridge door open with the crank handle.
