  1. just spent an overnight stay in Abbey Wood SE London, yes i know it is a Camping and caravan club site but.
    Clean, 100%
    Quiet 100%
    Toilets and showers 100%
    Wardens 100%
It is surprisingly quiet to say it is bordered by busy roads and housing estates on three sides.
Easy to find and really relaxed, drive in, book in, find a peg and let the wardens know where you are, hooks up a plenty.
Main gates close at 2200, 10 pm for the non 24 hour clock bods and opens again at 0800, don't have to translate this one do I.
If you go out in the car and return after 2200 you will have to park in the late arrivals but why use the car? be a pedestrian an return after 2200 by using the security code given by the wardens during book in.The rail station is 5 minute walk from the site, buy a day ticket for zones 1,2,3,4 and you can be in the bright lights in 45 mins including changing trains and underground.
Shower blocks are clean and warm, site is well trimmed some pegs you may need levelling chocks, small shops again 5 mins away towards the station.
I would highly recommend this site for London visitors.
PS also highly recommended is the musical "Million Dollar Quartet" good old rock and roll .
    Have fun
