John every time I see Corbyn on the television I know he and the labour party would never lie to us the public
Where do I sign up to join the labour party

 

Never ask a politician a question ,it's pointless they will always avoid the answer and tell you how bad the other lot are.

 

Barry, don't believe anything you read, hear or see. The Labour party are being attacked from all sides, especially in the media. Dirty tactics & false reporting is all the tories will give you. They have constantly dragged their feet & made our politics a world wide laughing stock.
I just hope that the students aren't put off voting on the day before they break up for xmas.... another dirty trick by the conservatives with the timing of it!

 

None of them are telling you the truth... you just have to chose which lies you’d rather believe!

I’m firmly in the middle for this election and trying to cross check and fact check the things I want to listen to... no one is squeaky clean!

 

They are all ex weathermen , hedge bets and talk what ever drivel they can to hopefully get themselves a hundred grand a year pension fa doing so Laura I know everything about politics asked him a good one tonight . Where will you live if you win Jeremy , “above A SHOp , or number 10 etc , he couldn’t answer what he would be doing ,,,, because it would make him a bl£££y hip o crit hope he gives all his wages to the poor and paints a bus to say how much “he is going to give the NHS “

 

Labours spending plans worry me, I just can't see where the money will come from. It's all well and good "soaking the rich" and increasing corporation tax, but history shows that whenever tax rates are increased the revenue goes down. In the last couple of PLC's I've worked for we've registered in different countries and simply made our profits and paid CT in the most advantageous, at the moment that happens to be the UK. Take tobacco for example, the huge levels of smuggling are driven by high taxes. When tax rates decrease the incentive to evade diminishes. I can honestly see a huge raft of spending without the revenue to fund it.

 

Milliband was crucified by the Tories for wanting to implement most of the things that have now found there way into the Tories manifesto.
Not saying he would have been a good PM but have things not turned into exactly what the Tories said would happen (And worse) if he was.

 

But aren't the Tories promising to spend spend spend after the cut cut cut

 

Been to see Official Secrets this afternoon - about the Iraq War lies. Really good film, but scary story.

 

Is "Coco Chanel" better than her usual pouty simpering self?

I just see the lot of `em as faceless totally self promoting w`anchors not worthy of my attention - and Cameron was the biggerst to$$er for misleading the great unwashed and not giving the full facts on Brexit .
