LHD to RHD conversion

I had a dream last night ,that I took all my right hand parts off the pickup and someone came in August [en France] with their left Hooker and it a couple of days it was RHD...

They drove into the sunset very happy....

I am in France for the Very long term and want Henry`s steering wheel on the better side...

if only your dash was brown, and i had a passport, and could afford the£1000 petrol lol

 

Got a few lhd parts here, pedals etc from when I swapped mine back from the dark side

 

tell me more ,have you the dash etc..

I'd say it'd be much easier to sell your RHD and Buy a LHD, you may even end up with cash in your pocket too.

Well bloody hell you learn something new everyday.

 

This is a strong possibility, I'd like to drive my LHD around a bit first to see if I hate it though, I'm thinking it'll be on the road in April but that could be optimistic. The single cab that is, so could make the swap reasonably straightforward .
Mine's single/double seat set up so a bit of welding required to swap sides!

Should do what a garage used to do in Herne Bay with Minis. Import LHD from Belgium, buy RHD parts from BL. Return the LHD parts claiming they were defective RHD parts for credit.

Somebody at BL noticed in the end so maybe the idea doesnt work..

I had a look at the master cylinder and all the pedals , I think they will all go on the otherside ,and the steering bits,plus with my fuse box been on the lhs all my switches will have more wire?

I noticed the brake and clutch had brackets ,do you cut them off or just make replacements?
