just out of interest, what's that little purple thing behind your lovely bug?

 

1 sec i got a pic, its like a fiat 125, but diffrent name cant remember now, i couldnt get insured on it so had to sell it, was a left hand drive, 1 sec

Ours was a 1970 Beetle, just been fully restored...

But as 17yrs old kids, we wrote her of on the 13th day of owning her....

I won't say who was driving as I don't want to embarass Mrs B

 

mine was a 71 1302s, that i fully restored...

I'll have to have a dig through my old photos and scan some in of how it looked when it was first done

 

mine was a 69 mini 1000 it only lasted 6 weeks a ran into the back of a mate(not spoken to me since 20 odd years later)1303s
wrote them both off

I called her Frances and she was a mint green cal look that was full of holes (as many were). Sold it to my brother and a few years later...



Currently being rebuilt again with a full cage, EFI and loads of other stuff... he's much quicker at getting things done than I am!!
