I have these ones. Not entirely sure what year these were used until but I suspect these are up to 71. They may have continued on 1600cc models.

  6. If no-one earlier up grabs these, could I have two of the plastic outer clamp parts ( the larger white plastic parts on the LHS of your picture ?

  7. How much you wanting for a pair of the bigger nylon parts?

    Cheers

  11. Hi everyone, looked at my heater cables and had the belly pan off the bottom
It looks like the cable that operates the two heat pods on the heat exchangers has been cut.

I'm trying to work out how the cables fit to the levers and the two cables connect to the lever.

If anyone has any photos of the heater levers on the dashboard where the cables go. Or underneath the can under the belly pan area where they appear out of the tubes. Please could you post them. I'd be really grateful
    Cheers

  12. Heater cable clips (#10 on above diagram) correct for August '67 to chassis # 215 2052 980 (Autumn '74) Buses.

  14. Thanks for pic, something missing from levers set up on our van. Can't work out as I don't know what should be there. I'll try and post pic.

  15. Have taken a couple of pictures, anyone know what's missing? Some sort of support spring maybe as when lever pushes rod down it tends to bend it.

  17. thanks for all the replies.

I am trying to replace one of the heater cables which has snapped, I am trying to pull it out of the conduit tube at the heat exchanger end but it doesnt want to budge.

anyone else had this problem ?

    are they held in somehwere?

should they just pull through the tube?

    cheers for any help.

  18. Yes, probably most of us.
No, but probably super gummed up with rust & expanded outer cable
Yes, if your lucky, it might unwind as you pull it,
Or you may end up cutting the tube out

  19. Thanks I'll give it another go now I know it should move and hope I can get it out
