Carl I got the templates today thank you very much. I'm going to get my welder out (that's a mate called Steve) and make a set for the front and the back. That means I have the Mk I set for the front which you gave me free. I'm going to post giving free overriders away and stand back from the rush.

By the way Carl do you know where I can buy the rubber both for the overriders and the long pieces for the bumper itself?

  9. Ebay for the edge trim. Ill get you a link later if needed. Overrider delux trim i think its called.
And lhu1921 for the strips, he gave me mine because they were 2nds but i think he sells them for £65.
And i can vouch they are great quality.

Brilliant Carl, I would like a link because I'm not sure what size or profile I'll need. I've just noticed lhu1921 signature so I'll give him a call for the overrider rubbers.

  11. There is a guy on earlybay that does the edging strips for £7 or 8 quid posted ,

  12. DaveR.. i cant get the dimensions onto the computer.. :/

i sent them to Tommy and sANDYbAY. maybe they could scan and send you them?

  13. Ok, will ask them.. Thanks anyway,.. btw your overriders looks very!! nice!

DaveR and Terrordales. PM me your addresses and I'll get photocopies of the templates that carlperkins001 sent me.

I fitted the templates I was sent but they went soggy and fell off in the rain. I think they needed to be made in steel rather than paper. Not that carlperkins told me that, he just sent the paper ones. No warning or nothing! just can't get the staff these days.

  16. Hahaha, what i would do bob is make them out of cardboard first, then you can fettle them before comitting to steel.
I had to fettle mine a fair bit to get them to sit right on the bumpers, and if your fitting delux trim you may need to leave a small gap to fit it in.
If you want ill pop over and make them?? *pppffttt*

Now I know you're tacking the mick. Cardboard will go soggy almost as quick as the paper, Hmmmm! I suppose I could get the cardboard chrome plated.

  18. Pva glue/water 1pt/5pts mix, paste on with brush in and out. Will waterproof. ;)
