  3. We bought one a while ago and used it in Cardigan Bay on and off for three years. Paddling through thousands of Manx Shearwater with Gannets fishing a few metres away is hard to put a value on but it's certainly in excess of the price we paid for the kayak. Life jackets and fair weather compulsory of course.

Iv been contemplating a cheap method of pottering about on water recently.. this looks like bargainous hilarity, with only mild risk of death. Cheers for the heads up!

We’ve just been looking at hiring paddle boards / kayaks for a couple of hours when we go away in July - I’m going to try and get one of these - for nothing more than splashing around close to shore

I think those of us with an insatiable appetite for unbridled adventure and really wild things, should all get one each and then have a TLB inflatable kayak meet-up on a mutually convenient body of water. Who’s in?

Got to love a random Lidl bargain from that central aisle,

In store you’ll probably find them kayaks next to the ceiling mounted bicycle storage pulley system, the led usb dab radio/toilet roll holders, and the 3 phase twin blade metal chop saws!

Get two, inflate them, strap them onto the bus crossways front and back (perfect profile) and buy that replica Viking long boat you've always wanted to put lengthways on top ... Then you can use them as life rafts on those longer voyages.
I also think Lidl missed a trick here ... Should have been selling them on D Day?

It wouldnt be a 250HP Mercury.. it will be a £70.00 200 watt electric outboard with a bracket for the canoe.. and a car battery box you need to fill with a battery

Oh and Lidl in Portchester dont sell Quorn sausages they sell Linda McCartney ones.
