  5. cool the bus down? what is this madness?! i've never felt the need to cool the bus down before bed, the opposite if anything. but surely an open window would do?

  6. Tiz warmer at warmer times of yar and sarf is warmer too. People moan they don’t have ac in campers then when someone makes something of suitable size cost and little drain on battery they moan more

  12. Not quite ,I know your in ac and vent, me too fa over 30 years on some major projects like the dome and second biggest airport in the world to name a few ,proper ac is very expensive and not really practical in very small spaces , this is just an simple easy cheap option but ............................... then it won’t be commissioned to some s specifications .

I too have a degree in building services including AC.
They have been around for years It works by you filling it with cold water and it uses a fan to blow a fine mist of water into the air. The clue is also in how much power it uses ,next to nothing.

  15. No they work buy pulling air over a saturated pad thus evavaporating the water by heat and changing the dry bulb temp

  16. Yes Matty somewhat finer than a squirty bottle though if we are splittying hairs

Ok so a bottle that has a fine spray and someone else pulling the trigger.
In my opinion it a lot of money for what it is and I can’t see it making a difference in a van especially in our climate that tends to be high humidity
