Just been stuck for over four hours on the M6

    police stopped a lorry that they had been trailing with 27 illegal immigrants in it. Four got caught and 23 ran off into the woods.

    The only problem was the police stopped it on the hard shoulder of the busiest stretch of motorway in Britain just before rush hour.

    I wasn’t expecting anything, but since it has happened I would have thought they might have diverted the truck off the motorway. Or am I oversimplifying it?
