We bought this as we needed somewhere for the toddler typo sleep without having to put up the awning and entrust him in the bunk up in the pop top. In truth it's a child bunk as it's short in length, plus the brackets, although solid, are held in by self tappers.

The fitting of the bunk was a trial and improvement process as the instructions were not great. But once fitted it did seem very solid. The toddler has slept in it many times now and has never fallen out.

The poles (more like square section, or 'u' section to be precise) are very strong.

The canvas is flimsy and would probably need replacing in time. It's also the wrong colour, cream, as shows dirt easily.

We've sued the bunk for storage during the day and to be honest find it so useful.

The only drawback that comes to mind is that, because it blocks off the cab area, the stereo is hard to operate. The remote won't work and I have to crawl beneath it the do it manually... a small point really.

Price £49.99 I think it was -bit over priced I guess but you only buy it once.

On TLB Mk1 (R.I.P.) someone either did or referenced someone who did a work around for seats with headrests ...I'll see if I can find it somewhere.
