Jaywick - How did it get that bad?

I agreed with what you said. I've also set up a tax avoidance thread for those that believe that it's the answer to the whole world's problems.

Nobody round here thinks Jaywick is actually going to flood.
Given that it's Jaywick, and the plan is for everyone to evacuated and 'the police will patrol to make sure all the homes are secure'...
General consensus is the Rozzers know that someone in Jaywick has got hold of something that they shouldn't have that the public don't need to know about and they need to collect it on the quiet.

 

If it did flood would it actually do any damage?

From watching that tv show the whole place looked like a good wash might do it some good.

 

Jaywick was actually completely flooded, causing millions of pounds worth of improvements.
