  1. How many of you have said that about your bus?

When we brought Stig, that was what his previous owner said to us as to why he was selling, the words seem to be echoing round the walls here at the moment not having any time to do him, anyone else feel that way or felt that way during a resto! Getting fed up with tripping over the bits everywhere now too :(

One day ....................................................................................................................... (or is it just a dream)

  2. I know how you feel mate, my garage is full of van bits, my shed is full of van bits, my bank account is empty and my bus is "in between looks" at the mo and looks a shed... I still love it though :D

You just have to keep going, no matter how small the amount of work you do, progress is progress.
But yes, every time, it's endless.

  4. Everytime I get round a big obstacle and start back up with the fun bits another obstacle presents itself.

However I'm certain all the hard work stress and heartache will float off into a distant memory once the first trouble free trip is under my belt and I can sit back in my van in some far away place and just enjoy sitting there. Knowing that I did that. (well most of it)

    Chin up, :)

  6. well to be honest a finished bus is always going to be a dream really..
if you worked methodically front to back by the time you'd bolted on that towbar im sure your front number plate would be requiring attention ;)

you show me one thats ACTUALLY finished 100% and needs for NOTHING, and you win a prize!

although... that is all part of the love of the bus, and i for one am looking forward to the next challenge mine throws at me, im sure it wont be long....

God don't I know it. I thought I'd have a few weeks on it over winter but we were just too busy. And now we're even busier. I'm in no rush though and it'll be ready when it's ready! Just wish I had the funds to get it moved on a bit further :(
