Isn't it wonderful news that REM are splitting up

I'd rather sandpaper my own eyeballs.

 

I like all the bands you mentioned. Seen them all too. To be honest as long is it's not anything from Britain's Got The X Factor or whatever, I'm pretty sure I like it.

 

I thought they already split, Oh well,

 

I guess its wonderful news if you've been forced to listen to them inspite of not liking them for the last 30 odd years, which, lets be honest, is highly unlikely. Their music will still get airplay so you'll have the same option of turning it off or tuning to another station just as you did when they were still together.

 

Mango. I was with you whilst you teased Marowak until you used the 'J' word and the 'S' word. There is a line drawn which defines decency and good taste. You crossed it with both feet with your danglies out. I am now inclined to side with marowak and mock you instead. Even though i find REM boring, there is no way you can compare them with 'those whos names must never be spoken'. Even though i dont like them they do have some talent.

 

REM had a few good songs but they are not my cup of tea. I cannot fault them though for helping out a lot of people with everybody hurts. That song really helped alot of people out.

To be honest l thought they had split as they haven't released anything for a long time and I'll also say it, l liked their music.

 

As Birdy said, had no idea they were even still together!

 

I once won a bottle of wine on a French campsite talent contest with, amongst other things, an acoustic version of this....
