Tacked not solid but when I add the repair panel to the rear of the nearside wheel arch two things are realised. 1. the width of the sill is greater than the width of the panel and the sill is lower than the bottom of the panel by about 7mm. The sill by the way can go up but the rail on the outer sill crosses the two rails in the side door roller guide. The sill pieces only but together one way so I am a bit confused about why the rails cross unless I have done something wrong? any ideas?
I wouldn't put too much faith in the closing panel being the correct size. I bought one, but ended up making the panel as it didn't fit. Get your sills fitting ok, and cut/make the closing panel to fit.
the width of the runner? Last night I adjusted the sill backwards with some friendly wood and it also closes up so the step is less and the runner goes back - Ill measure it thanks.
