No I didn’t take it off we took my mates transit instead, god it was cold last night I’m getting too old for this night fishing in winter
I concede you are correct. All those armies around the world with their Landrovers, the fools! VW themselves....they were idiots developing a T25 syncro when plainly they didn't need one. All those farmers and out door types, they all bought landies in error. The only VW that every won a world rally championship simply didn't need 4wd. This is a nonsense argument. I have agreed with you that they will surprise you off-road....but you are simply wrong that they are better off-road than any Landrover, and one daft video compared to all the info above underlines that.
They are all silly. This is the 4x4 I would buy if I needed one. https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1309671990.htm/
i ve owned landy s all types brilliant off rd as ye can see in my pic x army armoured as well as my willys jeep but the 181 was more fun off rd
I couldn't think of anything worse than breaking down (and it definately will) in the foothills of outer mongolia (or where ever it is) in a flippin astro turfed Fiat panda I'm out!
Of what? A horrifically long and painful death in the desert after your worst car in the world breaks down. And then the shame, oh the shame of your family and friends seeing the final image of you as a scorched dehydrated corpse, strewn across the bonnet of a Fiat panda in your bermuda shorts and birkenstocks!
Father in law had a square back like that- lost control of it and went down a ditch. He was carrying a bag of cement that flew through the car, missed him by a whisker and went out through the front windscreen.
