Is it ok for me to mention a new product on here ?

A friend of mine has recently been granted the UK and Europe rights for an American product. It is a "multi-surface conditioner". It is used "to clean and eliminate corrosion, to waterproof, and to lubricate mechanical hardware. It's even safe to use on various materials including metal, plastic, rubber, and wood!"

My friend is into motor racing and owns a 1965 Mustang. He and his friends stumbled across the product and all of them now use it. Apparently it is similar (but better) to WD40 but best of all it offers excellent corrosion protection.

He has just started selling the product but I do not know the protocol on here for promoting products.

Is it ok for me to link to the product ?
