Hi Lee here, just joined and looking forwards to learning a lot before buying, so will be all over the site reading. I did have an prototype bay, but now moved to this site as looking for a nice later bay to enjoy. Will be looking for a well nice bay.
Thanks for all the welcome messages, people who drive vans are nice people, probably as not in a rush to get anywhere! If any of you guys see anything or know of any van out there that might suit let me know. Criteria: Must be sound in all the critical areas, not to fused about inside as happy to do that myself in own style. Good sound engine or rebuilt / recon engine ideally 1700cc and above , but not deal breaker, as Im not in a rush either! I have funds available from my sale of my last prototype bay so know all the pitfalls of owning a van. I am going up to lake district end of next week so am happy to view vans from all over uk if you know of any good ones, might even consider a dealer / renovator if anyone can vouch for one. I was considering coolcampers in Bournemouth if any one can vouch for their work? Again thanks for the welcome and any advice is welcome. If you are local be nice to meet at some point if you know a bit about vans and experience of mechanics and maintainence.
