Interior Trim Behind Seat

Discussion in 'Camper Conversions' started by DangerousDave, May 20, 2017.

  1. Hi All,

This is probably a stupid question, but here goes anway. Behind the passenger seat on my 1973 westy is just bear metal a the moment, so I wanted to improve the look with a trim. I've bought the J12424 trim panels from Just Kampers, but the holes in the card don't line up at all with the holes in the metal. Is the idea to drill additional holes in the metal (there are no existing holes a the bottom of the metal behind the seat) or am I missing something??

    Cheers
    Dave

  5. Trim clips are off-set, pop some clips into the holes in the board & then offer it up. If they still don't line up see above

  6. Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like the black padded trim posted by Andy is what I'm missing. - that makes sense. Struglling to find the part at JK or VWHeritage, can any one provide a part number or more accurate product description?

  7. if you are lucky you might find those second hand and at a high price
