I think everyone like a bit of gadgetry in a bus?

I don't mean TV screens, Sat-nav and a microwave, I mean stuff that transforms into something else. Stuff swivelling about!

Obviously it's pretty clever and very useful that your back seat turns into a bed with a quick yank.
Dormobile had a fold out cooker tucked behind the the passenger seat.
Devon had a cabinet on a hinge to swing out through the sliding door. Great for cooking in the awning, but not very gadgety.
Westy continental cookers hinge out from the wardrobe. Basic.
My MK4 golf has a double cup holder that whizzes out from the dash when you press the panel.

Anyone for any more? Not neccessary to be in a T2. Could be clever ideas in a boat for instance.

  2. Glass that darkens the more sunny it is like they have on peoples glasses
That would be a godsend in summer

I saw on the telly (I think) years ago that they had this glass cubicle for a toilet and you could see straight in there and see no one was in there. But as soon as you went in and cranked on the light (I`m getting to it Zed) the glass went dark so you couldn`t see in from the outside, very very O0, now if you could do that on your bus O0 O0 O0 how cool would that be hey ! I popped that up on the earlies and the thread went quiet from there on, it was about what sort of curtains we all had ^-^

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Proud owner of no curtains at all ^-^

Also toying with the idea of a gazebo along side the bus with a solar panel roof now that flexible solar panels are with us ^-^ Or maybe a tilted (correctly angled) solar panel on your roof rack on a turntable that actually followed the sun to maximise it`s efficiency  Sorry guys ,,,, my brain does go off on some ` unusual ' tangents ^-^

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,, I was just saying about this somewhere ^-^ ;) ^-^

I was thinking more of useing a leccy fridge (cold Stella Yum) running from the leisure battery and topping up the leisure at the same time, I know it`s fading returns but it will extend the user life of the battery and how long you can camp without a mains hook up, that said ,, it opens the opportunity to use otherleccy devises and to re charge things like lights etc, solar lights are great for guy ropes at night, so when you trip over them, you can just look up and see what you tripped on ;D

    Ozziedog,,,,,,,, Solar is extra cool O0 O0 O0 ;D
