They didn’t quibble when I said mine was kept outside on my driveway. It is behind one of those security post thingies though, so maybe they were happy with that?
Carol Nasch have surprised me the last 2 years with the price and cover, but above comments have just reminded me i never sent the photos in for agreed value so that probably not covered for me this yer but i paid for it, i have no qualms though its my fault, i have used A Plan but Nasch beat them hands down ,
Yes I agree Moony When I had mine they were very amicable about my flat 4 slots...but said they would pay out if chained to a nuclear device
I use heritage for the camper, cabrio and Land Rover. They do agreed value from photos and are very helpful and I think competitive. £140 for 30k agreed value on the camper. They also insure cars that are under restoration too.
Yes, if its on a classic policy, then, yes, if they'll do it ot on a camper van policy, then, in my case, no. My Bug is on a classic policy, the cost is very reasonable, the camper policy is less good value but doesn't have the same constraints, such as garaging, but its no more than the daily. Both are limited mileage.
Yes, they use Herts Insurance (HIC), who are part of the Adrian Flux group. I usually phone HIC direct, get a reasonable price from them, then go and get a better quote from Adrian Flux on a comparison site online, phone HIC back up and tell them and they match or even undercut it.
Yes, if its on a classic policy, if they'll fo ot on a camper van policy, then, in my case, no. Bug is on a classic policy, cost very reasonable, camper policy is nmore. Bargain, that!
Just got a quote from RH £ 202 ... 5K miles...... must live in a rough area cos my quotes always seem higher than quotes on here!
Thought retired ( just ) and garaged would have resulted in a lower premium ...the daily is as cheap to insure.
