  1. My bus is kept in a bus port, it's like a car port but just that bit taller. I got agreed value of £25k.

Hmmmmm interesting. Lancaster, you say? Too late for this year, but I’ll squirrel that away for next year, although I’m not sure about the thatcham part, will look into it. Is that an immobiliser and an alarm?

  3. Just an immobiliser, an irritating little fob that you press up against a something under the dash, no idea what it is, can't see it & haven't looked.
Then you have two minutes to fire up the bus & it resets itself automatically sometime after you switch it off.

  4. I work at Classicline Insurance if anyone's interested in a quote. We can do agreed values, multi-vehicle policies including daily vehicles, free legal and UK/EU breakdown cover, salvage retention as standard, young drivers too if they've been driving for over 12 months and have their own car. We're one of the biggest UK brokers for hot rods too so modifications aren't a problem for us either! I've got a 1982 aircooled VW T25 Westfalia - not exactly a Bay but the closest I could get! I'd be happy to help anyone who wants to give me a call - 01455 639000 - of course, I'll make sure you get a generous club discount too!

  5. I've just insured via Charlotte at ClassicLine, a very reasonable £128.20 with full breakdown cover and £10k agreed value.
Thanks for the tip. I'm now off to check when the Moggy convertible is due as you'll probably get that as well!

  6. Good to hear! Give me a shout if you need anything :)

  7. Cheers bud. Need to add the moggy on but prisoner on a cruise at the moment. May claim refugee status in Stockholm and I’ll be in touch!
