whats the best process / materials to insulate and sound deaden a tin top bus. any advice would be great as im just about to start this week thanks chris
Silent coat on the panels (no more than 30% coverage required per panel) rollered on to ensure surface area adhesion and to take the ring out. then foam camping mats (open cell so seal edges with tape to stope moisture ingress). For horizontal panels e.g above engine bay you can top with heavy vinyl (mlv- mass loaded vinyl is the proper stuff but vinyl flooring will do it - it’s not a recording studio!)
