  1. Lots of people will tell you how good EC are. That may be the case but they had me buy 34s originally! and mines bog standard!

  2. Mine did but then they build a range of race cars...
    :)

  3. You're both right

It all depends on the RR... I've used one that, like @Joker , was a engine/race shop, so they did hold them, and others you have to pre-buy your own jets or go for 2 sessions... :)

  4. i wasn't overly impressed with the advice I got from Eurocarb as it was all wrong

A custmer of mine went to great trouble to get ICT carbs from EC ready jetted as I advised. They turned up with the bedford van jets. I got them to send free replacements. They sent jets for IDF's. Third time they got it right. Nice enough to deal with but you need a sense of humour and not to be in a hurry.

  6. so studded, set floats, pre-tune and jetted, may even try and fit tomorrow [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  7. Well didn't fit last weekend, should be good to try and start her up (attempt) on Monday (day off). Did a bit today routing the acc cable through the tin wear to line up with bell crank. Got one carb on before it got dark. Wish I had more time on it!

  8. Nice chicken :)

Which bell crank did you end up getting and from where??

  9. That's a CSP bellcrank

  10. Thanks Paul.

  11. My only issue with them is that you need 2 spacers for the lower mounting point, as the case narrows... and for some reason, CSP haven't added anything into the kit for it o_O

But other than that, top notch

  12. Good to hear, I have been looking at one as my hex bar is pants and is a pain to sync as it seems to open the throttles at different speeds, it may just be the monkey doing the work though.... (me)

    Apologies for the hijack :)

  13. Hex bars are difficult to sync up, as the pivot points are all varied, and with the engine being offset as well, makes it a complete mess

  14. Well I'm off to spend some dough at csp then :D

  15. They have.....8 x washers! Does the job however.

  16. CSP as above, Machine 7, there is also a link in the first post. The bars may need extending, again described in first post

  17. Cheers Andy, did you have to extend yours? Was it an easy job. I really like the look of this kit but am wary of messing the engineering of it and making it as hard to set up as the hex linkage.

Having recently swapped from a very cheap hex linkage to a bell crank, balancing has changed from a trial and error hair tearing out excercise to, well, adjusting. Night and day.

  19. Ill let you know on Monday, the pics are as far as I have got!

  20. Put my cable through the threaded hole that used to have the clip for the servo pipe bolted through it. Will fit a cable adjuster in there at some point to ensure the thread doesnt screw the cable up.
