Hi people 73 LB 1600 t1 34 Pict 3 I bought a used inlet manifold off of someone on this forum. When I went to fit it the flange was too small. 34mm carb base, 31mm manifold diameter. I want to crack on and get the manifold fitted but the seller is dragging his heels. I can fab and weld a new flange on but is the diameter of the pipe different too? Can anyone enlighten me please? The number stamped on the manifold is 113129701BQ Cheers John
The 113 says it began life on a Beetle. The fitment says it went with the smaller 31 PICT carburettor. If you bought it as just a manifold, well it is a manifold. If it was sold for a 34PICT-3 then it is wrong. If you need one, there are more knocking around. Like in my garage, which is a DP manifold for a 34 PICT-3.. Which I dont use.
