Are these indicator stalks delete now ..the ones where they join together in the middle with those hideous C shape fitments ...water leaks out of the unit , it swivels about when using indicators .
I have bound tape round it to help secure it .

Can't see anywhere where you can get replacements . They later models certainly have a better system .
I can live with it like this but it's a bit of a sham .

I had to scour every ad going to find a second hand replacement for my aug 72 bay. I honestly think hen’s teeth are more readily available.

I think I tapped the C pieces a bit with a hammer to get mine to grip.

I striped it all down and wound tape round a couple of times before re assembly on the column ...then tape again underneath after assembly ..helped .
To be honest i think the last time i used them was last year prior to the MOT , i know the fellas at the garage and taking a little plastic sheet to put over there legs when the come to test the washers .
Don't think it's leaking water where the pipe enters the little white block it goes to ...think it's leaking from the block .
I could get a electric washer system i suppose .

I will strip it all down after the MOT and try and make good ...the indicators do not correct themselves as well and quite often forget to cancel .
Fortunately the washers actually work all be it it leaks .

Just seen a set on ebay for about 200 quid ...wouldn't be so bad if was a decent system .
