  1. I have ahttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Ryobi-R18I...544642086&sr=8-4&keywords=ryobi impact driver

It is battery powered and take all the abuse I have thrown at it. It will easily undo all bolts on a camper except the Flywheel Gland Nut.
Like Snotty I always torque back up with a wrench as the power of these can shear off even a wheel bolt.

Also always buy genuine batteries as the fake ones cut out at high torque.

I have a Ryobi 18v ‘one+’ impact driver I got nearly new cheap off eBay.
Certainly won’t undo wheel nuts or tighten them up anything like enough.
I just use it instead of spinning a spider to save time when swapping wheel sets on my car.
I crack my nuts loose by hand first and then whizz them off with the rattler - same in reverse, I like to finish off by hand.
There’s no torque setting on mine so as said, useful for saving time on repetitive tasks but no telling if it’s going to be right for a job until you try it, but I reckon I could undo/tighten anything more by hand.
I actually got it because I was after a spare battery and together it cost less than half a new battery.

Just seen the post above - mine’s a single speed version.

  3. +1 for that Ryobi. One of our techs has got one, buzzes wheel nuts on & off no problem. Plenty of torque for a battery gun. In use daily & seems reliable.

I've got an ok ish battery one, its dead handy for things like drive shafts etc, but no match for windy one when you have a siezed wheel nut. I wonder if a Snap on battery one is comparable to an air one?

  17. Unlikely. It just costs five times as much.

I bought a Snap on screwdriver off the bloke in the van that used to come round... I managed to snap the tip off in a couple of months. And the van bloke doesn't come round anymore to replace it... cost about £30 if I recal
